I highly recommend Mountain Air Organic Beds for anyone with a bad back or allergies. For a long time I had to get a new mattress & box springs every 7 years or so, and always had to go for the most firm set I could possibly find. Otherwise my lower back hurt. Finally ended up with a Sleep Number which I had to keep on 100% pumped up air. By the 4th year into that one, my back started hurting again, not to mention my allergies were going crazy (turns out I am allergic to both dust mites and a mold which grows inside those air chambers). About a year ago I found Mountain Air and purchased 2 firm layers on the bottom and one medium layer on top. I am so happy with my bed. No back issues whatsoever, and no mites, no mold since natural rubber repels them all! This is exactly what I needed, and I also love the personal customer service – no pushiness whatsoever, just simple educational facts. I also had to change out my layers twice before getting it perfect & no problems doing so. I fully expect this bed to last me the rest of my life because my parents bought a rubber latex mattress in the 60’s which never did sag or get depressed spots. It only had to be discarded when it was on a moving truck that was in a wreck. I was so sad to see that bed go, but now I have another, even better one!
