I have seen Dr. Hilton, Dr. Schach & had a consultation with Dr. Stewart & two other doctors here. Without going into detail Dr. Schach performed a biopsy on my back after Dr. Hilton did two smaller ones for testing. He removed the benign skin flaw & left a very clean, fine incision scar in its place. I'm so grateful for them. Dr. Schach & his nurse made me feel comfortable & relaxed during the procedure. The skin healed beautifully within a couple weeks. The office is never overcrowded though there sometimes is a wait but it's worth it.
We had a great experience with Ozark Dermatology!!! My son had a rash that was deemed an "allergic" reaction by his PCP. After stopping the RX, it didn't go away. I called Ozark Dermatology and they were booked up but called first thing in the morning to let me know they had a cancellation!! My 8 year old was examined and the nurses and doctors spoke to him and asked HIM questions (as a parent--I always love when doctors talk TO my children like the patient instead of just to me like they aren't there) We got a cream for his rash and were told how long to expect it to hang around and to call anytime if we had any questions. I will definitely be going back and recommending them to friends and family!
The staff was always great, but I was very underwhelmed by the doctor-in-training I was assigned. She didn't solve my problem, and in fact I ended up with more than one new problem as a result of her not knowing how to deal with patients (like me) who are uber-sensitive to prescription side effects. I feel like some of those could have been avoided if she would have been more willing to listen to me, but she would usually just tell me the next prescription she had chosen and then rush off to the next patient. The result was several months of not feeling well, not feeling like a priority, and never getting the original problem I went in for taken care of. I hope others have better luck.
My husband has primary progressive MS and is in a wheel chair. His appointment was at 10:15 a.m. - he was even early to the appointment. He was kept waiting by Dr. St. Clair and the staff for over an hour and 20 minutes. The staff did not come out to let him know why they were running late. After an hour and 20 minutes of waiting, we had to leave. They had no respect or regard for the time they cost us today. After calling the office later in the day, all Pam (office manager) would say was, "We are sorry." I am contemplating sending them a bill for the value of the time they cost us. This is the first review I have ever written in my life. It truly is a shame that this is the standard in today's society. Thankfully we have other choices for better care.
I have been pleased with every service I have used here, from medical w/Dr St Clair, to cosmetic services with Christy, Stephanie, and Leah. Staff is professional, knowledgeable, and caring.
