Beautiful, clean, cheerful store with plenty of room to move around and the area's best selection of all-organic produce, much of it local or sourced from other cooperatives. I've never seen a better selection of local meats, everything from chorizo to chicken livers to sirloins and roasts. Great sales, and overall competitive prices, especially compared to Whole Foods or organic items at other stores. Wonderful customer service with well-informed, helpful, professional employees.
While not inexpensive, this store has a great section of organic foods and more. Bulk section is good, and the juice selections is good, if not sold out! Excellent location and plenty of parking! Recommended!
I've been going there for about a year and always have a pleasant experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone in the NW Arkansas area both as a health food store and a natural pet store.
Best produce (all organic--no tricky labeling); best customer service; incredible local meat selection; and fair prices for excellent products with good and regular sales. Also, decades-long proven dedication to the health and wellness of the region. Best place to food shop in Northwest Arkansas, but more than that, one of the best institutions to be a part of.
My wife and I went to The Homestead at Ozark Natural Foods with our new dog, Lola (Pug/Boston terrier mix). It's pet friendly and the employees are super helpful and good hearted people. Lots of high quality dog and cat food, treats, natural medicine, and accessories.
Idk what everyone else is talking about "beautiful produce", but this was the smallest produce section I've ever seen at a grocery store. Hardly any options, and the tomatoes had a swarm of flies/gnats sitting on them. I guess that's what you get with the organic, pesticide free option. Everything in the store is terribly overpriced, because you're paying for the organic label, and not good quality. Even simple items like Clif Bars are marked up to $1.25 each, when you can get them for $0.99 at Harps. I can understand shopping here if you're vegetarian/vegan because there are many options for that, but if you're interested in high quality produce and not paying for the organic label, I highly recommend Harps.
