I go here regularly. They have reduced items, a dollar shelf and almond milk at a decent price
Great on saving money. They have lots of mark downs that help a growing family
Over priced. Produce is poor quality. Hours are inconvenient (close at 9 pm, in a college town???)
I was stopping by after work tonight (I left at 845) to grab a pack of soda, thought I was good with 15 minutes to get there from Hugos, but the door was locked...and you were still open for 10 minutes...it only sucks because I knew what I needed, and would be in and out. On top of that, every employee you had was standing around staring and waiting for time to tick by... You paid your staff tonight, while your doors were locked, to refuse customers. People come in to eat 10 til close all the time... I don't like it, but I still have to serve them..part of having a job.
This is a very clean, attractive store. They have real butchers who prepare the meat, and they have good prices on their meat. I like buying their meat a lot for that reason. I want to know that my hamburger was ground locally, not in some big commercial beef factory. The workers are very friendly and it is nice to shop in a pleasant environment. They have also lowered prices recently and are carrying a different store brand for some items which gives you good value for the money. It is also nice to have someone carry out my groceries.
