Why do they even have a phone? Do they understand what phones are for? I know they don't understand their job which is to deliver mail and packages. They refuse to deliver any packages to our house; they write that we weren't home on the slip (a big lie), and I have to drive into town to the post office to get every single package. I don't know how long they will hold the package because that information is nowhere to be found, and they DO NOT EVER ANSWER THEIR PHONE!

Tracking a package that was said to have been delivered yesterday ''placed in residence's mailbox''. There is/was no package in mailbox. Post office of course, WILL NOT answer a phone. Website says to wait seven days to file claim. Wait 7 days?!?! How about the government actually do their job right & scan & deliver packages correctly. Really, how hard is that? Im sure grade schoolers could do a better job than these people that run the Dickson street post office. This post office is a joke & should be closed down. Not the first problem I or my family members have encountered with this post office. Wont go into those matters, but also a joke. Closing shop an hour early when posted hours say open till X. Really? I guess when you work for the government you can change posted hours whenever you want. Wishing I could change my PO location to the Greenland location. Much, much better service there. Much better.

Typical government workers...I do my due diligence to make sure I am prepared to get a passport for my son. Confirm that they're open and that they have walk-in status for passports. And then I walk in and the passport office is closed! And their response, is "I can't help you..." What happened in the 4 hours between phone call and walking in??? Now I need to plan another day for my husband to take off work, to pull my child out of school, and waste 2 hours of my life!

I had several questions needing answered. I expected to have to wait awhile and get short changed answers, but I was pleasantly surprised!! Rebecca took my phone call, and she was more than helpful! :) she answered all my questions in length and gave me useful tips on times to come back in. I'm delighted to have such a great experience. Keep up the hard work!!

This location has A LOT of negative reviews...here's another one! Surprise!

I don't know where to begin. I purchased something that was supposed to be shipped to my home on Friday 4/7. The USPS tracking system said it would be delivered on Friday 4/7. Then on Saturday when it had not arrived yet, it said it would be delivered on Saturday 4/8. Only it wasn't. At next check it said it had been delivered to my mailbox on 4/8. WRONG... I called the post office (had to call 51 times before someone picked up) to speak with someone about it. They spoke with the mail carrier and he/she said that they remember the package and that they think they dropped it at the wrong house. They would locate it and let me know no later than Tuesday 4/11. Well 4/12 rolled around and NOTHING... hadn't heard a thing... so I called 72 times until someone picked up and they said they thought it had been taken care of... NOPE STILL DON'T have my package. They did more research and through their scanning GPS system they were able to see that it was delivered to a different address. They went to that persons house (almost a week later) and asked for the package... which the person says they have no recollection of it. So now the post office says I can't file a claim because the packages was not insured... I don't know about you guys but when you order from a retailer I don't think "add insurance to my shipment" is an option to choose. AND they admit that they delivered to the wrong address... so tell me how I should be out $134 when they admit fault!!! I wish I could do that with my clients and still have a job!
