They complain when asked to do their job -- but they aren't as bad as the campus police. We honestly need to get better officers, ones who are trained with degrees, pay them more, and fire all of those who don't comply with the Constitution that they swore to uphold.
Definitely not a buch of Barney Fife types like some Arkansas municipalities.
Professionalism at its finest. Quick to answer a call and pleasant to deal with. Very efficient, I have never seen a police department catch so many DUI drivers. Watching them break up a fight on Dickson St is like watching a finely choreographed ballet.
