This lake doesn't get the kudos it deserves..great atmosphere..family friendly
I didn't spend much time here, but what I saw was great. I would love to go back and explore.
Great trail with great views. First half mile is relatively easy but gets a little more hilly after that. Not difficult for an able bodied adult but challenging for kids younger than 4 or 5. I carried my 2 y/o through the hills on my shoulder but my 7 y/o did fine. There's a picnic table about 3/4 mile down the trail that is a great spot for a break and a picnic lunch.
Definitely not what we expected. Not for kids unless they like to fish. Has a couple trails but lots of poison ivy.
Mike is a great person to great people at the bait shop and out on the lake.
