Great museum. Outstanding tour guide. Fascinating to see the Clintons first home.
This place was okay.... Small, quiet but the people working here are sellouts and the interns give sloppy "service"!
There were many points of interest there. The First Ladies garden where Mrs. Clinton planted the favorite flowers of First Ladies was pleasant and educational, of course interesting that she would have planted it because her husband had not run for governor yet, much less president. The kitchen is in the colors she painted it, very 60s-70s hippie style. President Clinton's office was cool to see, back when he was a law professor. There is an interesting film of the Clintons to watch, and photos on the fridge of the two of them that are fun to see. Their bathroom is open to the public!
Although small and quaint, the home is well preserved and worth a visit if you are in the Fayetteville area. Most interesting was the historical timeline information as it relates to the Clintons as well as memorabilia from Bill's 1992 campaign.
It's a quaint, quiet house near the University of Arkansas. We were the only guests in there when we went, and it felt a little surreal. The guide took our money, gave a neat little talk about everything, then went to one of the bedrooms and left us to explore. I was amused that even the bathroom, open for visitors, was in its original state! I can see why Hillary wanted to live there.
