The reclining chairs and walls in between each row make this place great for a comfortable time at the movies! Here's a little tip: buy the popcorn and soda combo. It's cheaper than individually bought AND you get free refills!!
Clean, updated, and overall good theatre. Since of the screening rooms are tiny and you can hear the thing bass from other theatres which is distracting. Food is overpriced obviously but tickets are in line with the national average.
My family and I went to watch The Last Jedi recently here at the Malco Cinema. This was not the first time we have visited the cinema, but it has changed since we last viewed a movie. I must say that it was very satisfying. The popcorn (large) was good as ever and lasted through the whole movie. My siblings and I also had some white cherry ICEE drinks that tasted very good too. The recliner seats were very comfortable and the room we were in seemed to be clean, but it was kind of dark so I suppose I wouldn't truly know. Altogether, the Malco Cinema was a great place to watch a fantastic movie.
Update: the new reclining seats are a huge upgrade. They're in the process of opening the bar so soon we'll also be able to grab an adult drink. That could go either way. The last thing I want to hear is a bunch of drunk people in a movie and the prices will probably not be worth it anyway considering they charge $6 for a big fountain drink that probably cost them .30¢.
Amazing place... The only reason we didn’t go to the IMAX is because it was star wars . In which I am not a big fan of. Besides the fact it was amazing and employees are very kind. Definitely 5 stars
First visit to this location. The remodeled theaters are nice. Service at the snack counter was pretty bad on the Friday afternoon we went. After ordering a hot dog and given a buzzer, we were told 20 minutes later they were still waiting for it to finish cooking when we asked why it was taking so long. Sounds like they forgot to make it. I’d give this a 1 but the new seating is nice and is similar to the Malco in Rogers now.
