Really racist!!! My friend and I went to get a $150 worth of alcohol for a party we were planning to throw. We asked the clerk if he can split the bill to two before he started scanning. After he was done scanning, we asked him again if can split it to two. He yelled "you should have told me earlier". Ok no problem it must be a misunderstanding you can do it now. He yelled "It's the cultural difference that causing all this, if your here learn how to speak " we started laughing because this is the most racist situation i have been. They were mad because we were not caught up in the drama they throw at as so they kicked us out.
Normally don't have a problem with this place. However, last night I drove through and asked for a fifth of Tito's. The worker said “That’ll be $42.54.” I thought it didn’t sound right and I made sure he knew I was asking for only a fifth. He said yes, a fifth is $42.54. I knew that wasn’t right so I said nevermind and I drove around to park. I walked in where I found the fifth for $19.99. Even the handle was only $33. So, I grab the fifth to check out with the worker that was not doing the drive through and he rings me up. Price after tax was $22.54. The drive through worker was trying to pocket $20.
I'm doing my masters at the university of Arkansas and I have been in the U.S. and I have been speaking English since I was 3. I have had conversations with a lot of people and never had problem understanding eachother. This guy is is so racist he couldn't make an eye contact with me. The worst part is it is that the other 2 guys that worked there slowly joined and kicked us. They were confrontational about the whole thing. I was just laughing, at this idiots. If u can not understand what I said, it's ok to say I do hear you or come again please, instead he said we obviously have a cultural difference. I was shocked, culture?? Really I just wanna get a drink we never had any conversation apart from payment for our alcohol. Fake smile and shallow minded attendant.
