Place is always filthy. It is ran down. Always have sketchy ppl hanging out inside. No bathrooms. No A/C. Roaches. Half the machines don't even work. Last time I went there some random guy literally followed me around grunting trying to get me to drink with him. Felt really uncomfortable. Ended up just leaving with wet laundry and dirty laundry BC I felt unsafe there. The machines cost more than the one just up the road on North St. The driers take forever and barely get hot. Honestly the only perk to this place is if you absolutely have to get laundry done after 8pm they are opened 24hrs a day.
The woman who was there, my first visit, was super helpful and friendly. The small dryers worked really well. Only thing is that I wished they would clean their horizontal washers more often, specifically around the rubber gasket of the opening.
A horrible place, the small washers cost 2 dollars per load , the dryers have taken over a dollar each to dry , no AC , NO room to move around,a cockroach ran beside me up to the post board, and over half of the units are out of order , floors are filthy and the building in general looks dilapidated.
I needed to wash my clothes after 8pm and knew the machines here were more expensive, but I mistakenly decided the extra quarter per load was worth it compared to trying to get to the (now confirmed) vastly superior Hawg Wash on North the next morning. As I pulled my laundry out after the spin cycle "finished" I could tell by how wet, not damp, they were that the machine didn't do half its job. Based on the detergent residue at the bottom of it, I could then tell it didn't do the other half. I'll rinse the detergent residue off at home and use a competent laundromat in the morning rather than give more money to a place that either refuses, or is too inept to run even a halfway decent laundromat. And this was the second chance I gave them after the first time years ago when the machines filled with water and then didn't spin. At least I didn't waste my time and saw the sign that said they would claim I overloaded the machine to not give a refund even though the loads I put in were smaller than loads that have been repeatedly handled by similar sized machines at the U of A and other laundromats without problem. To whoever owns this cluster****, enjoy the quarters you've stolen from me. Use them to help pay for any expenses necessary to sell this place.
Great laundry mat has improved a lot in last year
Google needs to make the lowest rating zero stars. One star could imply there is a positive aspect to this cluster****.
