The initial conversation my husband had with this place covered what he wanted done (full detail inside and out, along with buffing to remove surface scratches) and was quoted $135, but could be up to $200, to which we agreed and scheduled for April 19th. April 19th came and went. Nobody showed up or even bothered calling to let us know. At this point I was done with the place and ready to move on to a more professional business, but my husband gave the guy the benefit of the doubt and agreed to have him come out the following Monday, April 25th (he ended up saying he didn't show due to possible rain chance...for the next day). He did show on the 25th, cleaned our truck and charged $200, to which I assumed meant he did EVERYTHING he and my husband discussed. I glanced it over very quickly, paid him and he left. Once my husband got home and we looked at the truck more closely we could easily see how little the guy did and definitely did not do the full extent of what should have been included in the $200 worth of "detailing". The back of the truck wasn't even cleaned (I even offered to move the truck while he was here so he could access all angles more easily, to which he declined), there was still mud under the front bumper, the polish wasn't wiped off and I could go on and on. My husband called him, he said he'd come back out and finish it for an ADDITIONAL $75. After being a no-show and then doing a very poor job we weren't about to pay this joker more money. We continued to try and reach him to work something out, but he then stopped taking my husband's phone calls and texts. Once I got involved and sent him a text message expressing our dissatisfaction he appeared to be willing to "make it right", however, I declined and said we didn't trust him to do anymore work on any of our vehicles and instead should offer a refund from the $200 to reflect the amount of work he actually did ($135 being the low end he quoted us). He agreed, but it still took a week for him to say he was sending out the refund that very day, May 9th. Today, May 17th, I received a cash refund (what kind of business sends cash through the mail anyway?) that was postmarked yesterday, May 16th-a full week after he said he'd sent it!! So we have a no-show, poor work done, ignoring our calls and texts, finally agreeing to extend a measly refund of the difference to what was actually done vs what we were charged for, a week to be told that was being sent out and then another full week before it actually was sent out. Flaky at best. Definitely not worth $135, much less the hassle of dealing with it all.
Did a great job, inside and out, and I'll use this company again in the future.
I wasn't going to write a review and instead just chalk up our experience to just being "one of those things", but at this point I feel it's only fair to others to share our experience.
I called to schedule an appointment and was so put off. He asked what the condition of my vehicle was and I explained that I had a minivan and three kids. He then told me that he was trying to "stay away from the messy stuff". So if your car is already clean then this is the guy to call. Otherwise, he's not up for actually working!
